Nursery Laborer (Full-Time Seasonal)
Arbor Farms Nursery is seeking a dependable, hardworking Nursery Laborer to assist with the daily operations and maintenance of our garden center. This position involves loading/unloading tree and plant material, equipment operation, irrigation maintenance, and general nursery upkeep. This is a seasonal full-time position, with approximately 40 hours per week expected during favorable weather conditions. Because the work is weather-dependent, weekly hours may vary and may be reduced during periods of rain, snow, or other inclement weather. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Loading/unloading trees and plant material
Perform routine tree care, including fertilizing, pruning, and watering
Safely operate skid steers
Perform general machine maintenance
Complete minor irrigation repairs and adjustments
Weed management around garden center
Keep grounds maintained and orderly
Qualifications & requirements:
Ability to safely perform physical labor in an outdoor environment
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
Dependable and willing to work as part of a team
Ability to safely operate equipment; skid steer experience preferred but not required
Basic mechanical and irrigation knowledge is a plus, but not required
Previous nursery, landscaping, or tree-care experience is preferred but not required
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
Highschool Diploma or GED is required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Nursery Yard Manager (Full-Time)
Arbor Farms Nursery is seeking a dependable and hardworking Nursery Yard Manager to oversee the daily operations of our garden center yard and lead a team of yard employees. The Nursery Yard Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, maintaining an organized and safe work environment, caring for trees, and ensuring equipment and nursery grounds are properly maintained.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, organization, tree care, and productivity

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour DOE
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage, train, and supervise a team of yard employees.
Delegate daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and daily yard activities.
Coordinate the loading and unloading of trees, plants, and other nursery materials.
Perform routine tree and plant care, including fertilizing, pruning, watering, and general maintenance.
Safely operate skid steers and other yard equipment.
Perform routine and minor maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Complete minor irrigation repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Weed, clean, and maintain garden center grounds to ensure a safe, organized, and presentable yard
Qualifications & requirements:
Ability to safely perform physical labor in an outdoor environment
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a team
Dependable and willing to work as part of a team
